What is an ENTREPRENEUR?
An ENTREPRENEUR is a person who has decided they
want to venture away from the traditional f
orm of making money (employment) and go in business for themselves.
Why go in business for yourself?
Why not? I read that in today's economy and
with companies being as unstable as they are -
it's more risky to work for someone else, then it is yourself!
What type of people SHOULD NOT go business for themselves?
Anyone who doesn't like the word "WORK".
It is a lot of work to go in business for yourself.
And, if anyone tells you differently...
RUN...in the opposite direction!
I have started two businesses, three churches
(with my husband), one community television
station (FCTV) and joined several MLM business opportunites.
I sold one of my businesses, and the other one
I'm still operating, two of our three churches are still going, the community television station continues to prosper and
ONE of the dozens of MLM's, I made money with.
The reason I'm telling you this is because
that's the way it works when you start a business...
sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't,
but you don't stop working at it, until you find
something that works!!
That's what makes a successful ENTREPRENEUR!
I'm met a lot of people who THINK
(they just think and don't DO anything),
they JUST THINK that if they JOIN a
MLM or start a business, that is will grow
and people will come and buy.
That's the BIGGEST mistake, the BIGGEST LIE ever!
WHY? Because the first thing is that
NO ONE EVEN KNOWS you are in business for yourself!
They've got to find out. In order to do that you have to TELL THEM!!!
That means you have to PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL THEM!
Or hire someone to PICK UP THE PHONE and call them
or you have to hire a marketing firm to tell them,
or you have to pay for advertising - BIG BUCKS -
you want to reach lots! Or, you have to learn how to do
INTERNET MARKETING,
SOMETHING to GET THE WORD out that you are in business!
Okay, having exposed that lie.
Let me go on the to next one.
The next big LIE that people buy into is,
if I tell them the will BUY! NO, NO, NO!
People don't BUY BECAUSE WE tell them.
They buy because they WANT TOO!
They buy because YOU evoked within them
an emotion and they said WITHIN their conscious
or subconscious, that they NEEDED or WANTED
this thing or service you have to offer.
So, you will either have to DO THE RESEARCH,
ASK the Questions and find out what people
want and how to evoke those desires to buy within...
or you'll have to hire someone who can do it for you.
Or, you can take some SALES courses,
listen to CD's or join a networking
group that TEACHES you these important
KEY princples to HUMAN nature.
WITHOUT THIS UNDERSTANDING
you will look like a DEER staring into
an on-coming car headlights!'
And if you don't watch out, you'll be
hit and wondering what hit you!
WHY am I telling you all these things?
Because I have a passion to HELP YOU
not beat your head up against the wall
like I did! I have done more DUMB stuff
and it has cost me LOTS! Lots of money,
and lots of pain and heartache!
However, I'm not complaining,
I'm FOREVER GRATEFUL,
because I know more now than ever and
I can use what I do know to create greater
wealth and share it with others and see them prosper too!
